Tournament Overview

Founded by local philanthropist and soccer enthusiast Mr. M.E. “Mmbi” Munasi, the Vhanasi Soccer Tournament is an annual five-day event held in Vhembe from 27–31 December. What started with just four local teams has grown into a premier grassroots competition featuring 16 top SAFA Vhembe clubs, attracting fans from across Limpopo.

Legacy & Achievements

Over 11 editions, the Vhanasi Annual Tournament has become a hallmark of excellence and community pride. With increasing prize pools, trophies, and recognition, the event has featured retired Bafana Bafana legends, inspired youth, and provided a platform for future stars. Past champions have earned not only medals and kits but also regional acclaim.
